Prayer
11/14/11- As you know, Mormonism is all over the news. San Antonio is one of the test markets for the, “I am a Mormon” campaign. Please pray for more speaking engagements so that we can inform people about the differences between Mormonism and Christianity.
11/7/11- Typically things slow down in November, but that is not the case this year. Mormonism has been in the media because of the two Mormon Presidential candidates and that keeps us very busy.
We also have a number of exciting projects and opportunities coming up in the near future. Please PRAY that we prioritize and keep up with everything during this busy time of the year. Thanks for praying and may God bless you for His glory!
Ding fries are done!
Becky and I just got back from seeing the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and now I’ve got this song stuck in my head. The only way to get the song out of my head is to put it into someone else’s head. Click on the song Christmas Eve in Sarajevo. After you listen to that, listen to the Youtube version. [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFQyib5ZQZY] Good luck getting it out of your...

Here is a good video put together by some colleagues in the ministry. A number of our friends were interveiwed for this 32 minute video. Check out the section starting at 1:30 and ending at 2:32. [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcAqtPv3YcY] Hmm… If Mitt is open to talking about the most unusual thing about his religion, Noah’s ark according to Mitt’s own lips, then why does he refuse to talk about the things that are not as unusual to Mormonism, say like, Jesus coming back to Missouri or God having a material body and...

I went with my folks today to pick up my brother from the airport. He is visiting for CHRISTmas. Since we got to the airport early, I decided to drop by and see if the Jehovah’s Witnesses were there. They have a booth in terminal one where they usually station themselves. Sure enough, they where they. My folks and I went into the Starbucks in the terminal and on the way, I took a Watchtower magazine from the two JW ladies. The title said something about living forever. If you know anything about my Dad, you will know that he is...
read moreLet’s say “Thanks!”
A number of people forwarded this to me and I thought it worthy of posting. My letter was; Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. I know it is difficult being awayfrom family, especially for CHRISTmas, but know that you are appreciated andprayed for. God bless you for HIS glory and keep your head...
read moreTwisted CHRISTmas
Could it be? Twisted Sister singing Oh Come All Ye Faithful? Not only that, but it looks like they have a whole album of CHRISTmas carols. Check out Twisted Sister’s web site. This would make an interesting stocking stuffer. [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=giuTdKFvr_s]

12/22/05– Becky was talking to our daughter about celebrating Jesus’ birthday on Christmas. Our daughter asked, “Mommy, are we going to make a cake for Jesus? When Becky confirmed that we would, she asked, “But Mommy, who is going to blow out the candles?” This one is funny also because it takes into consideration how literal children are. Our daughter knows that Jesus is not physically with us so she asked an obvious question that most adults wouldn’t even think about. We had the cake, the candles, so who is going to blow them...
read moreCool Tool for the Gospel
I recently came across a very cool tool to use in spreading the gospel. Look in our “Cool Tool” section on the right side bar and look for this. I found one like it at on a forum and decided that I wanted to use it too. The graphic was created by Living Waters which is affiliated with Ray Comfort. If you click on this link, you will find all kinds of other cool tools to use in preaching the gospel. One of my favorites is the link at the bottom of the page which shows you how you can insert this graphic into a signature in your...
read moreFirst shots with my new XD
I know I am late in posting this, but it is better late than never. I wanted to show off how reliable the Springfield XD is right out of the box. I wanted to go shoot it the day that Fed Ex deliverd it, but I had too much ministry to do that day. Once I finally got to the range, I was not disappointed at all. My first shot was a perfect 10 at seven yards. A little higher and to the right of dead center, but a ten none the less. My next five shots were also tens. Still a little high except for one shot that I jerked. I felt it when I shot it...

Time for another Jewel. 6/28/05- Becky opened our son’s door at the end of his “room time” to find him sitting in his empty laundry basket. He looked up and said, “The princess will find me floating down the river.” He was thinking about the Biblical story of Moses being placed in a basket in the Nile River to be found by Pharaoh’s daughter. I thought this one was cute because our son was thinking about the stories we have read him and he is imagining himself as the main character. We, as Christian parents, are also happy that...
