Prayer
11/14/11- As you know, Mormonism is all over the news. San Antonio is one of the test markets for the, “I am a Mormon” campaign. Please pray for more speaking engagements so that we can inform people about the differences between Mormonism and Christianity.
11/7/11- Typically things slow down in November, but that is not the case this year. Mormonism has been in the media because of the two Mormon Presidential candidates and that keeps us very busy.
We also have a number of exciting projects and opportunities coming up in the near future. Please PRAY that we prioritize and keep up with everything during this busy time of the year. Thanks for praying and may God bless you for His glory!
A Miracle at the Door
The following is an e-mail we received from a good friend of ours who has a ministry very similar to ours. Christy Darlington is the director of Witnesses for Jesus and shared this story with us about a Jehovah’s Witness who came to her door and then came to Christ a few short weeks later. The email is presented as it was received. Do you ever feel discouraged that your witnessing efforts with Jehovah’s Witnesses fall on deaf ears? If so, we hope this report from Jim, an ex-Jehovah’s Witness Christian will be an encouragement...

WorldNetDaily has a very troubling article about “hate speech.” After reading it, I came up with a little syllogism that summarizes the article. Hate Speech LogicIf hate is a crimeand God hates sin, then God is a criminal. How long will it be until Christianity is outlawed for preaching...

First, let me apologize for not blogging for almost a month. We have some mighty big things in the works and at last I get to announce one of them. Our web site now has a new section titled, “HappyXWitness.com.” If one were to type that url into their browser, it would take them to our normal web site where they would see a banner with a HappyXWitness logo. Click on that logo and enter the new section where you can read testimonies of former Jehovah’s Witnesses who are happy that they are out and that they know Jesus Christ...

February 17, 2006 My brother came to visit and our son asked if Uncle Steve was coming to live in “San-i-o to-do.” That is how he use to pronounce “San Antonio.” *******Important note: We will not reveal the names of our children on this blog. Any comment that mentions our children’s names will be deleted. It is nothing personal, we just feel that it is an important safety measure for our family. If you would like to read the other FTJB entries, click on the “From the Jewel Box” link in the side bar on...

This is really funny! I’m sitting here at my desk with tears in my eyes and start laughing every time I think about what this guy just said. I try to listen to it over again and can’t hear him because I start to laugh when I know he is going to say it. My daughter just came out of her room because she, “heard someone crying.” That’s me folks and I can’t stop laughing.[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aK-DrM1hSBM]

Back in October, Becky and I went to the Witnesses Now For Jesus convention. I had the privilege of presenting on the topic of the Divine Name and what exactly that means. It was well received. Some friends of ours in the ministry placed the audio on their web site. You can either listen to it online or save it on your computer and listen to it later. Feel free to share your comments...

2/28/05– While Becky was at the gym, our son was looking out of the window and saw water in the parking lot. He pointed outside and said that the cars went potty. This was is cute because he has been observing that our daughter is potty trained and that he is learning. Since he saw a puddle of water on the ground by a car, his natural conclusion is that the car had an accident. *******Important note: We will not reveal the names of our children on this blog. Becky and I just got back from seeing the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and now I’ve got this song stuck in my head. The only way to get the song out of my head is to put it into someone else’s head. Click on the song Christmas Eve in Sarajevo. After you listen to that, listen to the Youtube version. [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFQyib5ZQZY] Good luck getting it out of your...

Here is a good video put together by some colleagues in the ministry. A number of our friends were interveiwed for this 32 minute video. Check out the section starting at 1:30 and ending at 2:32. [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcAqtPv3YcY] Hmm… If Mitt is open to talking about the most unusual thing about his religion, Noah’s ark according to Mitt’s own lips, then why does he refuse to talk about the things that are not as unusual to Mormonism, say like, Jesus coming back to Missouri or God having a material body and...

I went with my folks today to pick up my brother from the airport. He is visiting for CHRISTmas. Since we got to the airport early, I decided to drop by and see if the Jehovah’s Witnesses were there. They have a booth in terminal one where they usually station themselves. Sure enough, they where they. My folks and I went into the Starbucks in the terminal and on the way, I took a Watchtower magazine from the two JW ladies. The title said something about living forever. If you know anything about my Dad, you will know that he is...
