11/14/11- As you know, Mormonism is all over the news. San Antonio is one of the test markets for the, “I am a Mormon” campaign. Please pray for more speaking engagements so that we can inform people about the differences between Mormonism and Christianity.
11/7/11- Typically things slow down in November, but that is not the case this year. Mormonism has been in the media because of the two Mormon Presidential candidates and that keeps us very busy.
We also have a number of exciting projects and opportunities coming up in the near future. Please PRAY that we prioritize and keep up with everything during this busy time of the year. Thanks for praying and may God bless you for His glory!
I Was Interviewed On ABC World News!- Mitt Romney: Faith Matters
At last the waiting is over! ABC World News finally did the story they filmed back in early June. Becky is shown and there is a short clip of me telling the world that I love Mormons. Here is a great interview of Mitt Romney with Jan Mickelson! As I watched it, I could not believe how defensive Romney got when the subject turned to Mormonism. In my opinion, Mitt was way too defensive to hear exactly what he was being asked of him. Mickelson was trying to give Romney some advice on how Mitt can overcome some of his potential problems with Evangelical voters and Ronmey kept missing the point. Becky and I were married 15 years ago today. Tonight at dinner we were talking about what we were doing 15 years ago and Becky said, “At this time of the night, we were still picking birdseed out of our hair.” I remember that. As we were coming out of the church, people started throwing birdseed at us. It would not have been so bad if Becky and I had not decided to stop, pick up bird seed from off the ground and throw it back. Sure, we managed to get a lot of people with our seed, but that kept us in the line of fire way too long....
