Prayer

11/14/11- As you know, Mormonism is all over the news. San Antonio is one of the test markets for the, “I am a Mormon” campaign. Please pray for more speaking engagements so that we can inform people about the differences between Mormonism and Christianity.

11/7/11- Typically things slow down in November, but that is not the case this year. Mormonism has been in the media because of the two Mormon Presidential candidates and that keeps us very busy.

We also have a number of exciting projects and opportunities coming up in the near future. Please PRAY that we prioritize and keep up with everything during this busy time of the year. Thanks for praying and may God bless you for His glory!

Cascarones on Easter is a Mexican tradition that lots of folks have adopted into their Easter celebration. The egg is drained out of the shell and replaced with confetti. The video shows that it makes an aweful mess![youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wX7B0D7QOI]

Communion or Exclusion- A Contrast of the Seder Supper to the JW Memorial

Posted by on Apr 13, 2007 in Blog | 0 comments

On Saturday night April 7,th Becky and I had the opportunity to attend a Seder Supper. We’ve got some friends who have invited us in the past and it has never worked out for us to attend. This year we made a point to attend because I have been asked to conduct the Sunday morning communion service at this year’s Witnesses Now For Jesus Convention. I thought it would be good to make a contrast between the Seder Supper and the JW Memorial that we attended last week. Boy, is there ever a difference. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the...

Pistol League # 11 Starts Today

Posted by on Apr 13, 2007 in Blog | 0 comments

As some of you know, I’ve picked up a new hobby- competitive pistol shooting. I have an annual membership at the Bullethole Shooting Range in San Antonio, TX and practice every week. I saw that they had some competitions so I joined knowing that it would help me grow as a shooter. I did well enough in my first league to get recruited by a good team for the next league. I’ve been “Deadeye Keith” ever since. The league started today and I look forward to shooting various courses of fire for the next seven weeks. Enjoy the...

8/23/06 Our 3 1/2 year old son was counting by fives on his fingers. When he stopped at 25, our daughter then said, “Thirty.” Our son looked back down at his fingers and said, “I don’t got thirty.” *******Important note: We will not reveal the names of our children on this blog. Doctrinal Contrast: Christianity and Mormonism

Posted by on Apr 9, 2007 in Blog | 0 comments

As many of you know, March 25th was a historic day in the history of Missions to Mormons. Evidence Ministries joined thousands of Christians world-wide and participated in the Jesus Christ/ Joseph Smith DVD distribution. On that date, I had the privilege of teaching on Mormonism at Concordia Lutheran Church in San Antonio Texas. If you would like to listen to the presentation, follow this link. It may take a while to download, but hang in there for about a minute. It will just take a little time. If you would like to have a copy of the paper...

Wedding Crashers

April 2, 2007– Tonight was the Jehovah’s Witnesses annual observance of “The Lord’s Evening Meal” or the “Memorial.” The Witnesses celebrate what most Christians refer to as communion only once a year. Before I describe the events of the evening, I’ll give a short summary of what happens at this ceremony. Since this is the only religious holiday in which JWs participate, attendance at Kingdom Halls for this service is much like Christmas and Easter is for Christians. If you are associated with JWs in any way, and...

Police Comments

Posted by on Apr 3, 2007 in Blog | 0 comments

I received this from a friend of mine this morning and it is hilarious. These are supposedly 16 comments of actual police car videos from around the country. #16 “You know, stop lights don’t come any redder that the one you just went through.” #15 “Relax, the handcuffs are tight because they’re new. They’ll stretch after you wear them a while.” #14 “If you take your hands off the car, I’ll make your birth certificate a worthless document.” #13 “If you run, you’ll only go...

DVD Outreach to Mormons

Posted by on Mar 31, 2007 in Blog | 0 comments

Well, it’s over, but the work has just begun. March 25th, 2007 was a historic day. Never in the history of Mormonism has there been a bigger outreach to the Mormon people. An anonymous Christian businessman donated 600,000 DVDs to Christians, churches, and ministries who would agree to distribute them door to door on March 25th. The DVD, titled Jesus Christ/Joseph Smith is an excellent production that contrasts the differences between Christianity and Mormonism. Not only did Christians in Utah participate in the DVD outreach, but DVDs were...
