Prayer

11/14/11- As you know, Mormonism is all over the news. San Antonio is one of the test markets for the, “I am a Mormon” campaign. Please pray for more speaking engagements so that we can inform people about the differences between Mormonism and Christianity.

11/7/11- Typically things slow down in November, but that is not the case this year. Mormonism has been in the media because of the two Mormon Presidential candidates and that keeps us very busy.

We also have a number of exciting projects and opportunities coming up in the near future. Please PRAY that we prioritize and keep up with everything during this busy time of the year. Thanks for praying and may God bless you for His glory!

Researching the term “Name” in the book of Acts A Study For Jehovah’s Witnesses

The following is a list I (Keith) put together in preparation for a study I had with a Jehovah’s Witness elder. We were studying through the Watchtower publication, “WHAT DOES THE BIBLE Really TEACH?” One of the points that this book makes early in chapter one is the idea that God has a personal name and that if we don’t use that name, then we cannot really know him. I put this list together to help my friend look at things from a different perspective. If you would like to read a report of our conversation, you can read our 5/30/13...

Does Scripture Instruct Us Not To Let Jehovah’s Witnesses And Mormons Into Our Homes?

Posted by on Aug 28, 2012 in Mormons | 0 comments

From time to time, we are asked if it is permissible to allow Jehovah’s Witnesses or Mormons into Christian homes in light of 2nd John 9-11.  This passage reads, “Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting; for the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deeds.” Out of all of the...

Let me get this straight. You say that… –My religion was hatched in hell.[1] –My Christianity is perverted and apostate.[2] –My Church is the Church of the Devil.[3] –My Church is wrong.[4] –My Church is the anti-Christ.[5] –My Church is evil and is the Whore of Babylon.[6] –My Church is leading me to hell.[7] –My Church will be hewn down and cast into the fire of no return.[8] –My Heavenly Father is imaginary[9] and invented.[10] –My Jesus is mythical.[11] –My Trinity is a monster.[12] –My creeds are an...

Should Mormons Vote For Mitt Romney?

Posted by on Feb 8, 2012 in Mormons | 0 comments

If voting against Mitt Romney because he is a Mormon is bigotry, then isn’t it also bigotry to vote for him because he is a Mormon? This article explores what faithful Mormons should take into consideration before they cast their vote for Romney. There has never been a time in the 17 years of our ministry where Mormonism has received as much attention in the media. There have been many articles addressing everything from asking if America is ready for a Mormon President to whether or not Christians can vote for a Mormon. One thing I have...

Witnessing Tips – “Student Role” Teaching

Posted by on Oct 28, 2011 in JWs, Top 5 | 0 comments

Preaching the gospel to Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons presents problems to the Christian that are often times more difficult than normal witnessing situations.  Mormon missionaries and Jehovah’s Witnesses are taught not to listen to Christians who are obviously trying to teach them.  Since these cultists believe they already have the truth, they think that there is nothing to gain by listening to Christians.  There is a way to reach out to Jehovah’s Witness and Mormons, but it is in a way opposite to conventional wisdom. As...
